Also of note: Not immediately picking up a subculture reference does not make a person stupid. It simply means that they have a life outside analyzing cosplay outfits and that they likely have other interests about which you and I are ignorant.
Am I saying this in self defense? No. I knew for certain that it was not a bad Lara Croft at the zombie comment. I am saying this on behalf of all the people out there who don't live in our little fantasy world where we dress up as characters from films and video games and treat people with distain for not recognizing us.
Jill Valentine is much more badass then Lara Croft. Seriously learn your characters. Resident Evil is not some sort of Indie gamer game but a mainstream FPS game with action cutscenes. Hell they even made movies out of the gaming series which was really good and had Jill in them with the way she looks in the games.

Firstly; while it is true that the Resident Evil franchise is indeed a large one, spanning a variety of platforms including, but not limited to, the Playstation, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, Gamecube, and the XBox 360; one thing it is not, is a FPS. FPS is an acronym which means First Person Shooter; in order to qualify for the acronym, the game really has to be in first person (played from the main character's eyes, you literally see what he or she sees.) while there have been a couple of Resident Evil games which fulfil this criteria, they were neither good nor indicative of the rest of the franchise as a whole, the Resident Evil games traditionally being a Third Person game (viewed over the shoulder, like Gears of War or Ratchet and Clank) and are far more Survival Horror than they are Shooters.
Secondly, while it is true that the Resident Evil franchise now includes four films (three live action and one CG-Rendered). Your statement of "and had Jill in them" is erroneous in one key area, Ms Valentine was only in one of the aforementioned films.
So in summary; fact checking, IMDB would have illustrated that Jill had only one film appearance. Learning, find out what acronyms mean before you use them. Foolishness, I have way to much time on my hands, and have the foolish assumption that you will ever return to read this comment on your comment; all I have done is proven my pedantic nature to the rest of the internet, (greetings internet).

I saw another picture of her and thought she was supposed to be Lara Croft as well but after seeing a couple more pics realized she was Jill. She does a shit ton of cosplay though. Is there professional cosplayers?
